FAM is about 3 travellers : Fabienne, Anne and Mélanie
This multifaceted project resulted in a video, a book, illustrations, a website, posters, a travel sketchbook and photographs.
A highlight depicting Rickshaws from the travel sketchbook about Mélanie's trip.
An extract from the travel sketchbook on Fabienne's rallye in the morroccoan desert.
I created a book divided into 3 chapters, compiling all 3 goals and experiences.
A color was assigned for each woman.
Orange-yellow for Fabienne and her race in the desert.
Red for Anne's search of her origins into russian lands.
Blue-green for Mélanie and her roaming discovery of asian medicine.
This is Fabienne
Her goal is to go beyond her own limitations by immersing herself in the Moroccan desert during a women-only race. She is passionate about this very special race that occurs once a year.
It is an off-piste, no GPS, old-fashioned navigation, called Le rallye des Gazelles.
This is the illustration part where I created a map of objects for each traveller.
We see here the objects that are characteristic of Fabienne's travel. Each of them symbolises a different aspect of the travel and possesses its own story.
This is Anne
She decided to travel to Bulgaria, Russia and Serbia, in the search of her origins. Deeply rooted in her orthodox and Russian heritage, she had to wait until her children were older to finally find the courage to pursue this long awaited dream of reconnecting with her ancestors.

This third photograph pictures Mélanie,
surrounded by the most emblematical objects she carried with her during her 6-month backpacking trip through Asia.
She, along with her comrade, wrote very beautiful words about the sometimes tough experiences they went through. She recorded her many poetic thoughts on a blog : À la croisée des regards, with dazzling pictures.

Process of digital sketching. En Inde Anne & Mélanie ne pouvaient pas survivre la nuit sans moustiquaire
